It arrived 8 days later; unfortunately, the salesman who had taken my order could not write, and the lens had a Canon mount instead of a Nikon mount. Called them up, and they said no problem: ship the lens back, and we'll send you a new one. I didn't want to do that, since I needed the lens right away. Ok, they said; order another one (which arrived OK in 8 days), send back the wrong one, and we'll credit your credit card. They didn't charge shipping on the replacement lens. I ordered a Nikon SB-16B flash and a Tenba camera bag from Adorama. The flash arrived 7 days later. The bag had been back-ordered; I decided to buy a different bag locally, and they cancelled the bag order with no hassles. I haven't gotten my credit card bill, so I don't know if they've credited my account yet. For the savings ($50 on the flash, >$100 on the lens), I would say it has been well worth my while to go mail-order. Of course, I haven't had anything break yet, either...
