It was written by Eric Frank Russell (almost all of whose stories I can recommend strongly). It later was padded (not to successfully) from a novelette to an Ace Double Novel half called _The Space Willies_ (meaning evident in the context of the story), coupled with a collection of shorts callked _Six Worldds to Conquer_. Out of print now, but EFR should _never_ be out of print. Steve Kallis, Jr.
