Dagny Taggert is one of the protaginists in a book called _Atlas Shrugged_
by Ayn Rand. Dagny is female (very female!).  I don't believe she was
ever into leather, green metal appeared more her style, as she was
frequently seen with a braclet of green metal chain around her wrist.

The quote at the bottom of this article can be thought of as refering
more to a moral transaction than to an economic one.

 And zero sum games don't appear to *really* benefit anyone, 
provided that a temporary winner has the guts to continue playing.
