After trading lots of e-mail, we started telephoning. Now it's daily, and we actually fell in love before we laid eyes on each other (or anything else for that matter |-). We met last weekend, and looks had NOTHING to do with anything. Both of us are pretty amazed, but feel strongly that this is the way it should be. Theories be damned, our attraction is based completely on personality. It turns out that being together in person is pretty important, but only because that's how you can see facial expressions and body language (which we had already discussed, so there were no real surprises). She is the most beautiful person I've ever met, and she tells me similar things. Her beauty is internal, and I would be very hard pressed to rate her on some sort of arbitrary "attractiveness scale". Myself, I use the Budweiser Scale: Mel's a 25. This is the number of Clydesdales it would take to drag me off of her. |-) Right, Darling? Gary Benson (fluke!inc) -- Gary Benson * John Fluke Mfg.
