Well, mg and I met over a computer.  There is a base rumor (spread by
him) that we had actually met in person before this (I was visiting a
friend of his) and that this gave him the courage to send to me.

For that matter, I have met most of my closest friends over the arpanet
long before I ever met them in person.

But then, I am weird.
