I keep hearing about these so-called 'singles bars' (a.k.a. 'meat markets'). The question in my (admittedly sheltered) mind, is *WHERE ARE THESE PLACES*? They obviously don't advertise themselves as such (unless there's some subtle aspect or nuance of the advertising that I don't understand). Are they just frequented by those who happen to be 'regulars' or who happen to stumble into them? Are they found by word-of-mouth only (as sort of a floating party)? Is there a particular type of establishment that tends to this? Please, good people, answer this one for me. I am interested in checking out these places (why? perhaps the reason every one else goes, or, perhaps, as part of my own studies of human social interaction, or, perhaps,.. well, do you *really* need to know?). I guess I wouldn't even ask, but I have observed some 'fellow travelers' who seem to unerringly find these places. I know they didn't have time to do a linear search of all the possibilities!
