Artificial turf is certainly "different" to play on for teams that have natural grass at their home ball park, but surely where ever a team plays, the ground (or lighting) conditions are going to be the SAME for both teams. As for the game that Billy Martin protested, the outfielders from BOTH teams were having problems spotting the fly balls. I feel sorry for the Twins, they have to put up with the lighting conditions on EVERY home stand. Go Cubs. Baseball should be played in natural sunshine on natural grass. -- [ I bought a ticket to the world, But now I've come back again - Spandau Ballet ] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ || From the keys of Richard Jeffreys ( British Citizen Overseas ) || || employed by North American Philips Corporation || || @ AT&T Bell Laboratories, Naperville, Illinois || ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ || General disclaimer about anything and everything that I may have typed || ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
