It still has its "death valley" in the < left-center/center field area. Before it was renovated, the longest distance < to the wall from the plate was something like 463 feet! The wall down the < right field line was around 291 feet! Ah, yes... the distinct shape of Yankee < stadium is a characteristic that I wish they didn't alter, although it still is < similar. They brought in the fences this year. Left field and left center aren't like they used to be. I guess Uncle George got tired of seeing Winfield and Baylor hit those 420 foot outs. I don't recall exactly how much. After he fired Billy (no, asshole that's not until next month), I mean Yogi, I switched my allegiance totally toward the Mets.
