Sports analysts are split on the issue of why no one outside of Boston is a Celtics fan. Some say it is because living in the Boston area is a natural selector for stupidity and hence the rest of the country is too intelligent, while others claim that instead of being related to intelligence, this effect actually has to do with the high incidence of inbreeding caused mental illness in the Boston area. We may never know the full truth. To be frank, none of us really care. >If they do advance, we can look forward to basketball's "Premier >Event" ... Boston / Philly. More like football's premiere event. I've heard that East Coast basketball will be aired in between wrestling events next year. Danny "Crybaby" Ainge should be a natural. >The winner of this series should >certainly win the NBA Championship, though they could suffer an >emotional letdown playing "Dancing Barry's Team". (Of course, >Kareem is Kareem ... LA could make a series of it yet !!). Well, this is big of you. Last year LA "made a series" out of it with Boston - taking them to seven games and losing the title on their own mistakes, remember? This year they're incredibly healthy, James Worthy has improved, and Byron Scott has become one of the league's premiere point guards. The Laker's have lost one game so far in the playoffs, setting scoring and assist records along the way. Oh yeah, I think they'll "make a series of it". As always, the Celtics are weenies... Scott R.
