Where are those Pistons now? What happened to the invincible 76ers in Boston yesterday? I'll tell you what happened. They played the World Champions. That's what happened. Whoever wrote that the Celtics play only as hard as they have to was right on target. They're like the Raiders. They rarely covered the spread but they posted the best overall record. PARISH!!! He has been the key lately. I've never seen Chief play so well. He's hitting the boards like a man possessed. He usually disappears in the big games. It's a good thing he's picking up the slack because Larry is playing like Rambis lately. Danny Ainge is improving with every game. Let's face it, he's in there as a shooting guard or off-gaurd, whatever you want to call it. He's shooting over fifty percent and playing blue-collar D. He could be an unexpected key in the future. Maxwell is still not back. He looks like he's very conscious of of his knee. I hope he gets it together soon. Wedman is always hot. Talk about your instant O. How many turnovers did the Celtics have against the Pistons on Friday? With a few minutes left, they had only four. That is truly amazing. Can I believe my eyes? Did Maurice Cheeks make three bad plays when the game was at a critical point in the 4th qrtr? This guy has always been one of my favorite players because he makes so few mistakes. He must be joining Larry in a "Let's Show the World We're Human" kick. The refs must have passed the word on Breadtruck Barkley that he's still a rookie and should be treated as such. He is getting a lot of poor calls. It's too bad that a star system prevails when refs blow a whistle. The Star always get the benefit of the doubt. I'm not even going to comment on the Laker-Nugget "game" on Saturday. The Knicks get Ewing? As if that division wasn't already too tough. They are going to love him in NY. He better improve his free throws or he could turn NY against him real quick. On second thought, the NY fans are pretty easy going...With two near-legitimate centers already, the Knickerbockers will surely sell one for a Speaking of Free Throws, would you like to have your money on the line with a Laker on the line? Go Green!
