For the second straight game Philly's shooting has been atrocious, due to Boston's defense of course, and now find themselves on the short end of a 2-0 count in the best of seven series. Boston's inside game again dominated the Sixers as Parish, McHale and Bird lead the scoring. Also gotta give credit to DJ for a fine defensive effort on Toney. It won't go down in the books as a pretty victory, but it was a "W" nevertheless. Next stop: The Spectrum on Saturday and Sunday. Be there, 'cause it's not gonna be a Celtics sweep. It-couldn't-happen-to-nicer-guys department: Denver defeats the LA Lakers on LA's home court last night. Denver was the only team to beat LA twice this year on their own court, so this one doesn't surprise me a lot. That should slow down LA's coronation for a couple of days or so. Go Boston! - kevin UUCP: {allegra, decvax, ihnp4, ucbvax}!decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-akov01!haggerty ARPA: haggerty%akov01.DEC@decwrl.ARPA
