I can just see it... Vader tries the Force on McCoy: "You will feel the Dark
Side of the Force..." "I'm a doctor, not a zombie!"  And then Darth trying
to explain the Force to Spock: "You see, it binds the galaxy together..."
"Illogical, as this refutes the evidence of particle physics, the laws of
relativity and..." "Oh, take him to the brig!"

And poor Luke stays on Tatooine for the rest of his days (The Farmer with
The Force...).
