(Seems that there are these people who want to load a million records every morning.) Our systems are 68k based UN*X boxes with disks that have 30 millisecond access times. Anybody know of any implementated access methods that will get us at least 120 record adds per second (obviously, some buffering would be involved) and at least 10 accesses per second.
