Congratulations, you are totally wrong.

1.  You should NEVER post to an fa. newsgroup.  FA newsgroups are forwarded
copies of arpanet groups and only work one way.

2.  The person who asked to be deleted is on the ARPANET so nothing
you said about net news has anything to do with him.  What you should
have done was written to INFO-VAX-REQUEST.
