Schiffman Given that one want's to connect hosts using TCP/IP over X.25-based public-packet nets, what hardware/software is available? I know about the CSNET X25Net software (written at Purdue, right?); but I wouldn't mind hearing about experiences with it. I know that some Network companies are preparing gateways to do this; have you heard of any in particular where the stuff already works? If there are any other possibilities, I'd be interested. Not surprisingly, the hosts to be connected are mostly Vaxen (VMS and BSD) so implementations could be on these hosts or as (say) ethernet gateways. Thanks, -Allan -------
