The mem driver (which runs /dev/mem, /dev/kmem, and /dev/null) has been
upgraded, by bringing over the fast mem driver from utcsstat and applying
some further improvements locally.  Between this and the ps caching mods
the other day, the speedup in ps is quite striking.
