I know it was taking forever for the TR8 to get certified by EPA & other federal agencies for importation into the US, but why BL didn't push harder and faster for certification of the TR8 AND the MGB V8 I'll never know. BTW - My vote for the best application of the 215 ci V8 was the GKN Lotus Europa(although the Morgan runs a close second).
