i got several responses to my request for advice regarding whether
or not to rustproof/undercoast my new car.

the advice was solidly AGAINST any dealer rustproofing.
2/3 of the people recommended (ton one degree or another) having
the car rustproofed. All of those recommended Ziebart.

the other folks cited Consumer Reports April '85 issue that indicated
restproofing was not recommended.

i decided to have ziebart rustproof/undercoat my car.
cost: $224 - lifetime guarantee - once a year, free of charge, the
car goes back for a check-up/touch-up as need be.
