The blurb wrapped around the cover said that > subscriptions are free to instrument-rated pilots... I guess you still get what you pay for. Why, I can hardly wait to try out my C-120 on the transatlantic route. Lessee now, a 1500 nm leg would require about 600 lbs of fuel plus reserve... gonna hafta get a waiver on max gross takeoff weight... Well, maybe I'd be better off just following their instructions to get my Learjet rating and then I could cross in style, eh? 'Twould seem to me that if you can afford to make any use of the information they consider to be valuable, then you can certainly afford to subscribe to their magazine for real money. In the meantime, I'll be glad to put in a "change of address" to have them forward my free subscription to someone who wants the rag.
