True, and true; on the latter if you use a lot of glass you can really have a fun time trying to get that squished bag out of the container; my father insisted that we put glass into a separate container. Also, you dasn't put greasy things in the trash compactor, because the grease sticks to the plunger and after a very few days can start to smell \real/ interesting.
