Lines: 15 Well actually, both Time and Newsweek pointed out that, while it is in dispute whether there was gunfire from inside after the bomb was dropped, the excuse for letting the fire go was rather lame, as the police had been attacking the house with WATER CANNONS all day long. As newsweek said, most likely the feeling was that a good long roasting would do what tear gas had been unable to do (paraphrased by moi).
