Have any of you loudmouths bothered to back up your comments with some experience? Have you even attempted to conduct a test? Let's have some (HONEST and UNEMOTIONAL) discussion. Let me state, for the record, that I have always been a Pepsi drinker. (If you can't handle that, don't bother "n"-ing this article, just turn off the terminal so its condition will match your mind.) The other day, I participated in a blind taste test involving Coke, "new" Coke, and Pepsi. I found I liked the new Coke the best. It was certainly sweeter than the old stuff, but not as sweet as Pepsi (Pepsi has always been a little TOO sweet, although much prefered over the *relatively* bitter Coke). It was certainly NOT bong water. Did it ever occur to any of you WHY the people at Coke did this? Provided that the change doesn't draw massive numbers of people away from cola altogether, it can't help but increase the market share! For those Coke drinkers who find Pepsi too sweet, the new Coke is still not as sweet as Pepsi. For those who found Coke not sweet enough, this is probably gonna cause some (like myself) to switch from Pepsi. After all, they don't give one damn about you--they are (and always have been) out to make money. It's just fortunate sometimes that the public's interests intersect with Coca-Cola's. Viva la difference! SJB
