Nah, the problem with most smokers is that they have no imagination.  They
smoke for a while, and that kills all of the cells in their nose (except for
a few which will, with any luck, become cancerous.)  Then they say that they
can't smell anything when they light up in a 4 x 5 foot elevator with six
other people, so anybody who does is just pissing and moaning.  Of course,
if they had any imagination, they could imagine themselves surrounded by
tubes and wires in the hospital as loathesome black carcinomas metastasize
all over their bodies, dooming them to lengthy and excruciating agony as their
vital functions are slowly obliterated.  But I digress.

Anyway, it's been years since I ran into anybody who smoked in public who 
wasn't an obnoxious jerk.  All of the smokers I know are kind of embarassed 
about it and engage in their habit in private, like say, if they were 
bulemics.  Maybe all of the nice public smokers moved away from here to avoid 
being associated with the obnoxious ones.  But I doubt it.
