Lately I've taken to entering a shop without any means of escape and
consuming all there is to consume, hoping to find someway out once inside.

About 3 weeks ago did this and upon trying all obvious means of escape,
barring death, I did the only thing left to do, I zapped my wand of
create monster.  Well, would you beleive a leppie popped up right next to
me!  I killed it, ate it, and within a few turns I was gone!  
What a rush!
