He told the two tellers and the bank manager he found inside the vault that he was robbing the bank. The two tellers asked if they could leave the vault to get the money from their tills, and the robber let them go. The bank manager then said that he had the wrong key (to access money inside the vault?) and would have to get the right key from his office.
