View, CA Lines: 15 I am preparing to do some research on archiecture characterization. I would like to look at a copy of the fortran validation suite from NTIS. Unfortunately, this costs $3K and my budget for preliminary work of this type is restricted by a reorganization within my directorate. I am interesting in looking at the Suite for ideas on architectural tests. An example of such a test is the Livermore loop designed to fool lookahead machines [cascading arithmetic if]. I do not intend to run programs. If I could take a look at what some one has, I would appreciate this. --eugene miya NASA Ames Research Center {hplabs,ihnp4,dual,hao,decwrl,allegra}!ames!aurora!eugene @ames-vmsb.ARPA:emiya@jup.DECNET
