I heard on the radio that Softech, Inc. has decided to sell its
Microsystems division (the folks who market UCSD Pascal).  The story
had serious doublespeak -- like they were curtailing operations but
this wouldn't affect operations.  Apparently they don't want to commit
the resources to what Softech sees as a risky venture.  They plan to
sell the division or sublicense its products.  It sounded like there is
no buyer at this point, but they hope to line up an estabished software
publisher.
