I recently posted a message to the net with quotes in the subject line,
as in:

Foo ("BAR")

Many people have been replying to that message, but I'm finding that
many of the replies are inserting extra \'s before the quotes.  I don't
know if this is being done by people's mail or news software, but
someone should probably check it out at some point, since it certainly
looks rather odd:
