If quoted spaces are indeed legal to send, well send them for heavens sakes. If they crash people's mailers, then those mailers should be fixed -- plain and simple. All it takes is one wizard to discern the fix, post it, and everyone else should follow suit. Thank goodness its a solid bug you've found, and not one that would cause peoples mailer's to crash on every 3rd message to come by with a quoted space when there's a full moon out or something like that. g
