You are correct in assuming that Mr. Trameil has been given a lot of undeserved 
credit for the ST; but you are incorrect in assuming that the product was 
underway before he arrived.  The people who deserve the credit are the Atari
engineers who slaved away at the product to produce samples in the short time 
span given.
