I have a large database I have been keeping ad-hoc in a UNIX file
that I would like to put on my Mac using some good database program
(by good I mean simple and fast.)  The database is a mailing list
of about 1200 names.  Does anyone know of a Mac database manager that
will let me start up a database by transferring in this text file
and then will do a reasonable job of maintaining mailing lists (i.e.
updates, searches, and label printing)?
