Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 24 How many of you amateur developers out there have had your application's signature bytes approved by Apple Technical Support? From the MDS manual: (and probably all over Inside Mac) >(By the Way) > Application signature bytes, and type bytes for other > files, must be assigned (or approved) by Apple Technical > Support. Makes sense to me; we don't normally want a document to think it was created by two separate applications. The question is (hello, Apple?) are the rest of us (non-certified, non-registered developers) supposed to do this also? What number do we call, and who pays for the phone call? Or who do we write?
