(I also have a narrow imagewriter). Can anyone tell me how much of a job it would be to write a replacement imagewriter driver/program? My idea is to use the Oki standard and near letter quality modes (much faster than the imagewriter) and be able to do adequate bitmaps without switching cables. This is in the style of the MacDaisyWheel Connection program available. One thought is to do a post-processor, as I believe the Laserwriter uses for regular (non-LW fonts), and modify/write a new ChoosePrinter Desk Accessory. I would appreciate any ideas/answers. bill cox -- William Cox Computer Sciences Department University of Wisconsin, Madison WI bill@uwisc ...{ihnp4,seismo,allegra}!uwvax!bill
