It works quite reliably, and handles recursive makes and makes of large makefiles with lots of dependencies quite well. Earlier this year, the authors noticed a horrible bug (it didn't detect failing commands right and would plunge ahead heedless) and sent out free updates to all of their customers. Pretty decent.
