I benchmarked a S-100 machine with an 8086 running at 8 Mhz using the
Harmonic Series benchmark proposed in net.micro.mac and posted to
net.sources.mac. Most Mac benchmarks were over 20 seconds. Microsoft C came
in at 13 seconds. When I lowered the clock rate to 5 Mhz and plugged in a
8087, it took less than 1 second to run. Anyone with a 8 Mhz 68000 machine
and Motorola's floating point processor want to give this a try?
