Beach Software has produced a handy tool named EDGEWRITER (ew)
for printing listings and marking them with a user-specified
message on the front folded edge.  The tool is implemented as 
a vanilla filter and can be simply added in a UNIX pipeline ahead
of a printer spooler, such as 'lpr'.  'ew' labels listings 
AS THEY PRINT, thus ending the common practice of marking 
stacks of listings with a magic marker.
