Like most bankable Hollywood stars, Bette Midler has a production company,
called, appropriately, Miss M Productions.  Most of these companies wind up
making films for their stars, and not much else.  Guess which studio just
signed a production agreement with Miss M Productions?  Disney.  I'd imagine
Walt is doing around 33 1/3 RPM in his cryogenic capsule about now.

One vehicle which might be made is a film version of a novel called "Beaches",
a book about a friendship featuring a brassy redheaded heroine...
