"See Emily Play" was written by Syd Barret, one of the founding members of Pink Floyd. He also released a couple of solo albums, one was called (I believe) "Syd Barret and the Madcap Laughs", but I don't remember the name of the second one. Syd left Pink Floyd after their second album and spent some time institutionalized, though I read a few years ago that he's living outside of those kinds of walls now. Has anyone heard the version of "See Emily Play" on Bowie's album "Pinups"?
