Attention deadheads:

Read "Playing in the Band" by David Gans and Peter Simon.  This book, written
from interview excerpts that have been rearranged around common themes,
provides wonderful insights into: each band member, the records, what it's like
to record and play in the Dead, the crew members, playing in gigs (including
Egypt), how the band members met, the ""meaning"" of the Grateful Dead, etc.,
etc.  It includes comments from TC, Hunter, and Barlow as well.
It's very spiritual stuff -- required reading for all!
