A number of Stargate decoders (old-style decoders, on temporary,
free loan) will be shipped within the next 48 hours or so.  The
recipients will include U.C. Berkeley, Rand Corporation, City University
of New York, and AT&T Bell Labs, Columbus.  Another decoder will ship
(probably to either a site in Hawaii or to Oklahoma State Univ.) after
the Portland Usenix demo.  Decoders are already in place at Lucasfilm
and Vortex.

Before the conference, test feeding of some mod.* materials through
Stargate should commence, replacing the current repeating test
data.
