DREAM LOVER

I bring you garments
I have made them
hand-stitched and embroidered
rich red and gold twist
on gauze of black shoulders
you dress for me
a perfect fit
And I embrace you 
as I can only embrace my self
We rise; a free and
euphoric height of my life;
a tandem flight, an ariel survey
then a swoop to the ground
and we find a place to rest
beneath the low and spreading branches
of a huge and aged tree--
your size also some shelter
But it's my hair we sleep on.
