Rather than being the sign of "independent thinking" which I presume Mr. Sykora assumes his blind adherence to free enterprise myths to be, such "independent thinking" is really no different than the propaganda thrown out in the typical Mobil advertisement. I will not argue that such self-delusion or persistence of myths that fly in the face of reality is limited only to the right. I believe the Left does the same thing when socialist governments try to impose collectivization on agriculture - the myth being everything will be better done "collectively". Unfortunately experience seems to show that agricultural productivity would be increased more by promoting numerous small to middle-size holdings. We are all subject to propaganda to some degree whether we admit it or not. The best response in the face of this is to constantly examine our opinions, assumptions and presumed facts against reality and logic. tim sevener whuxl!orb
