	About 6 months ago, someone posted a numeric sequence problem
and offered $100 to the first person who correctly supplied the two
preceeding numbers and the two successive numbers.  I believe in was
in net.puzzles; it definitely seems appropriate.  I was wondering
if anyone solved the puzzle and what the correct numbers are.  Was
this a ruse?

	The four numbers are:  54748, 92727, 93084, and 548834.
