         Does anyone know the origin of the Marine Radio Distress Signals??:
              1)  Mayday-mayday-mayday (This one is obviously M'aider in
French)
              2)  Pan-pan-pan  ( I think I would rather sink than be heard
saying something as stupid sounding as pan-pan-pan on the radio)
              3)  Security-security-security


             What do frying pans have to do with boating?
