I personaly have never had a second try, but a good friend of mine has 
split up with and gotten back together again with the same man at least 
three times. I've known her quite well through the last two breakups and
they were both for the same reason.  Looking at the relationship from
the outside, it seems they can't live without each other but they can't
quite figure out how to live with each other either.

Has anyone else personaly had this type of experience or known of
others who have?  My friend gets down sometimes about her relationship
never seeming to be going anywhere and she asks me what she should do.
Never having been in the position myself, it would be nice to tell
her of others experiences. Just letting you know of someone elses
experience with second, third, fourth ... :-) tries, not really
looking for help with her relationship.
