	I agree, even if you're NOT the shy type!  I've had several 
relationships, ranging from casual friends to semi-serious to pretty
serious perpetuated via e-mail - and all of those were in the same town,
as in, NOT long-distance!  

	Many things are lot easier to say via e-mail.  The only weird part is
talking to someone in person again with whom a good part of the relationship
has been conducted on e-mail and "talk" connections!
