R. I. The Championship game will be a repeat of previous champions (#2) Syracuse and (#1) Johns Hopkins. Quarterfinals: JHU 15 Adelphi 8 Syracuse over ?? North Carolina 16 Brown 14 Virginia 10 Army 6 Semis: JHU 11 Virginia 8 Syracuse 14 North Carolina 13 in overtime! I've been a lacrosse fan since my undergrad days at UVa. My fourth year at Virginia we lost to Hopkins in the championship game in double overtime. In the 1983 final which I attended, Hopkins had a 12-4 halftime lead over Syracuse, but the Orangemen came back to win 16-15 by scoring about four goals in the final five minutes. Lacrosse is a very exciting sport to watch live. If you're anywhere near Brown this weekend, I'd recommend taking it in. Jeff Heatwole ..!hou2e!jlh
