   The Detroit media have been reporting for the last day that former 76er
broadcaster and Piston coach Chuck Daly is being considered as a replacement
for the departed Billy C.  The Piston's GM ( his name escapes me at the 
moment ) has stated that he will not stand in Daly's way if he wants and is
offered the job.  Sixers owner Harold Katz has also mentioned Daly's name.
Any comments/opinions?  The way it sounded to me is that Billy's assistant
has the inside track, and that the players may have put some pressure on the
ownership to get rid of Billy.
