On holiday in Spain near Valencia and West, to the Portuguese border: Would like to know (1) interesting historical places to see, (2) restaurants that are good examples of local characteristics, and particularly (3) the best ways to handle money exchange (from Canadian Dollars). Earlier discussion on the net suggested that the best way to change money in more Northern parts of Europe would be to use a credit card. Is this true in Spain? Are bank exchange rates better there or here for cash and/or travellers cheques? Any other information about travelling in this area would be welcome. -- Martin Taylor {allegra,linus,ihnp4,floyd,ubc-vision}!utzoo!dciem!mmt {uw-beaver,qucis,watmath}!utcsri!dciem!mmt
