The show wasn't so great, but the music was worth listening to. I often switched to another program after the opening theme. The writers really did have a very good handle on rural life and rural humor, and the juxtaposition of hicks and high society was usually well done. When I talk to people about that show, it seems that people from rural backgrounds are more likely to enjoy it. Some the humor goes right by if you don't have anything to relate it to. If you grew up on a farm (I did), a lot of those gags hit home. Music was good, too.
